The Luthier's Cello No. 10

This is the luthier's 1oth cello being played so beautifully by a mystery cellist. This wee film shows just a little bit of the magic that the luthier creates with his own hands.

And he brought me breakfast in bed yesterday after I have spent the last few days being a surly cow. He is the best.

To be able to bring music like that into the world, as composer or performer, is the most incredible gift. But without a supremely talented and equally gifted luthier such glorious sound would never be possible. And the cello, oh how I love the song that cello sings :D

Glorious! What an art. Even better, the artist knows how to deal with surly cow moments (we all have them).

Hmmmm. I'll have to test-drive one of these lovelies. One day.

And breakfast in bed you say? He IS the best!

Wonderful to meet you Mrs Smith and to hear Luthier's beautiful music. I have a passion for the cello, to listen to. I cannot play. It cuts through to the heart.
