Luthier - Go Behind the Scenery

Keep your eye out for the Luthier's Violin No. 3 on this excellent ad selling our wee state.  How exciting to be included with icons like MONA, Cradle Mountain. David Foster and that dude with the alpaca. It fills my heart when the luthier gets a bit of love for the work he does. It took more than 300 hours of hand making passion and an incredible amount of skill to make that beautiful instrument.  A little love for the work goes a very long way.

What a great ad for Tasmania - fresh, funky and quirky! Wow - 300 hours, that's a labour of love for sure. Always great to read the tales of another local (although we have only been here for 8 years, so not sure if we count as local!) x

Great stuff! Tell The Luthier he needs to blog more!

I hear you Susan. Luthier blogging has slowed down for a bit as we are about to build a grouse new website including blog and more info about his instruments and bows. Once it's up and running there will be lots of regular blogging... I should probably put that on his blog, shouldn't I?

It's very cool, isn't it. I am sure 8 years counts as bring local - but the real test is do you drive around the block if you can't get a park out the front? That's the true sign of a local Tasmanian.
